Auditor

Role Summary

The Auditor is responsible for performing management system audits across the organisation.

The Auditor should ensure they have the specific training and qualifications to conduct an audit according to the scope of the audit identified in the audit plan.

The Auditor may lead a team of other qualified auditors if they have been trained as a Lead Auditor. In addition, they can invite subject matter experts from the organisation (ensuring independence from the specific area under audit) to support the audit.
