Objective

The objective of this process is to ensure that the impact of any change to the System is assessed and the appropriate level of assurance is put in place to control the introduction of the change.

Scope

This process covers any change within the organisation that impacts the total system that delivers the service. This includes any formally planned projects or corporate change activities or other informal change activities. It does not apply to corporate organisational change that impact the safety accountability chain within the organisation.

Trigger

This process is triggered by three methods:

• Formal notification of change initiated within the business change management process. This would be covered by a formal Change Request Form.
• Informal notification of change. These are requests that do not come through a formal Change Request form, but through an email or other form of other communication.
• Safety measures mandated by the Regulatory Authority
