Safety Risk Owner

Role Summary

The Safety Risk Owner is responsible for the acceptance, through formal signature, of the declared residual safety risk for the service under assessment. They are also responsible for the approval of the safety cases for the service, or changes to the service, under their scope of responsibility.

The Safety Risk Owner is determined by the level of residual safety risk. For the highest level of safety risk the Accountable Executive is the Safety Risk Owner. The rules on Safety Risk Owners is defined within the process material.
